About Us

The @malosagallery started as a pop-up in a private venue at Old Town in 2018.

Two years later we found this 1900’s cheesecake-shape building, a lovely brick art piece, and completely remodeled the place. The result is a fantastic, wide open space (2,000 sq. ft.) with parking in the back. It is across the street from Paulina Meat Market, which has been in Cornelia St. for ages and is a Chicago favorite.

More than just an art gallery, @malosagallery is designed as a cultural venue,  a place where artists and creators are welcome to present pop-ups, exhibitions, art expos, book presentations, press conferences and cultural events. The gallery space is open for day activities like dancing, yoga, meditation, women’s circle, and reiki classes, as well as music performances and wine tasting nights. It has been conceived as a space to enjoy arts and performances, a space for sharing artistic expression.

It is located in the heart of Lake View, next to the hip area of Roscoe Village. If you are an artist requiring to show your work, or if you need a cool place to make a great presentation, please contact us for a consultation. Maybe this could be the ideal place to make that pop-up happen, or to show that art expo of your dreams.

Life is about sharing, Let’s support art, support local artists, and support each other as a community. Local and international artists are welcome to @malosa gallery.

Sincerely,

Isabel Molina
